1. After I’ve placed my order, when will it ship?
Most orders ship within 24-48 hours. Orders are shipped Monday through Saturday. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will ship the next business day.
2. How do I add a personal message along with the gift?
You can add a special message in the area defined as either “Comment, Note or Add Special Instructions to Merchant” section during checkout.
3. What are my Shipping Choices?
At checkout, you will be given an opportunity to select standard, priority, or ground service which is provided by either USPS (United States Postal Service) or UPS. Please note that there is no Saturday delivery service with UPS. We ship anywhere in the United States.
4. Do you ship Internationally? What about Alaska or Hawaii?
We can ship International as well as Hawaii and Alaska. Please note that there are certain tariffs and taxes placed on international shipping. Just fill out the “Contact Us” form or email us at info@dorm-sweet-dorm.com. Please indicate the full mailing address along with the specific college care package so we can identify the associated package weight and we will respond as soon as possible with the shipping cost.
5. Will I be able to track my package?
A delivery confirmation email will be sent to you along with the tracking number. Please keep in mind that it takes approximately 24 hours for the tracking number to become active.
6. Why didn’t the recipient receive the package on time?
Please keep in mind when shipping to a campus box number, a notification is left in the student’s box and the student must retrieve the package from the mail room. This process may take up to 2 days before the student actually receives their package. Please keep this in mind when placing an order. Packages are not delivered directly to the student’s room. You may wish to notify the student of an expected delivery which gives them something to look forward to. PLEASE verify your student’s shipping address and be sure to include apartment numbers, building names or numbers where appropriate.
7. Do you have a Return Policy?
We guarantee our packages. If you or the recipient are not satisfied, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery to talk about a replacement or a refund. All refunded or replaced packages must be returned to Dorm Sweet Dorm within 15 days of delivery. Please contact us via email at info@dorm-sweet-dorm.com before you return your package.
8. Do you charge sales tax?
New Jersey State Sales Tax will be charged on gifts delivered within the state of New Jersey.
